It's Just Life

lyrics

(Verse 1)
I’m reaching goals before the reaper shows
And so I keep the flows hidden in the rhythm that the speaker holds
defeating foes until my feet are froze
Until I’m freezing cold, head to toe, deep beneath my sneaker sole
I’m thinking deeply, jot it sloppy in a verse
Cause it seems we’re all in need of a smile or a smirk
So when you seem scarred at the bottom of the dirt
No matter who you are just know somebody’s got it worse
We all suffer amongst misfortuned majorities
Who get bored with maturity, don’t conform with authority
Most are poor, can’t afford any, some are born with deformities
We all got individual definitions of normalcy
But more importantly see through a dream’s optics
We all just tryna eat and sleep with a clean conscious
Shout out to Marxman, homie this beat’s monstrous
Makes me wanna strive for change and preach progress
so don’t sob when the clouds and the rain comes
Poke your chest out, walk proud till the day’s done
I’m living life by the bass drum
Give me a crumb and I’ll make a bigger cake from which it came from
Certain and positive their verdicts are deadly
Cause we’ve murdered many and most didn’t deserve it, if any
It hurts in our memory, histories of personal envy
From burdens we carry to the insecurities we burry

(Chorus)
It’s Just Life, and that’s why every night we clutch mics
Then spit our guts on a track till our gums slice
That’s why before we got to pass it, we puff twice
Just tryna get our funds right for some fun nights
So quiet down, I want silence when the drum strikes
Silence all the drugs, knives, violence and the gun fights
Stop tryna hide from the sunlight
Behind blinds tryna question God’s eyes, man It’s Just Life

(Verse 3)
Sometimes it’s sad so you sob with depression
Stop tryna focus on the bad, should be counting your blessings
Don’t recreate the past, all you got is the present
Sometimes you need to blaze some grass for some honest expression
Some are probably drinking cause they’re poverty stricken
From these hypocritical businessmen who copy the system
Watching all these abandoned buildings from failed businesses
Just represents the lack of job security for citizens
It’s shady, battering woman, kidnapped babies
And daily convincing myself that I’m not crazy
Like maybe there’s hope for us surviving this hell
So at times I write rhymes to inspire myself
Cause freedom only means that it’s free to be dumb
So each one must reach what they need to be and become
Everybody plays a part you can thrive and be excellent
And I’m just using common sense and logic as my evidence
So gain momentum and velocity
Cause you can learn a lot through the simple acts of generosity
I’ll keep on spittin’ but I doubt they’re even listening
So I’ma rise and write my way up out of this predicament
So stop labeling people, we’re all lunatics
And stop always pointing the finger, we’re all new at this
My proposition’s rockin’ rhythms to shred it
And strive to always be positive, optimism’s infectious
We’re all one memory away from a cry
And at times we all feel alone and empty inside
Cause those ain’t your boys, they just use you and you use them
Quit tryna get new friends and tie up some loose ends
Too many real friends lost over dumb fights
And if you lack a love life, you can still love life
You’re contradicting yourself and start acting strange and fake
Imitating the same exact behavior you claim you hate
Cause happiness ain’t found in money if your wealth’s constricted
In fact most of the stress depicted’s often self inflicted
So keep your head up through the highs and the lows
With your eyes on the road till you both arrive at your goals
We all got our own domains we’re confined to
It’s up to you to break out of the barriers and climb through
Use your past struggles as the basis to guide you
No matter what they say your mistakes don’t define you
It’s Just Life
