Scarin' Tha Neighbors is SC Static's 3rd official full length solo album. This time he teams up with super producer/musician Jesse Castro to create a modern old school boom bap funk album. The project plays through cohesively with Castro funking up every beat as Static paints a blunted picture of his hometown - Warwick, NY. The theme of this album is Static making fun of himself growing up in a non Hip Hop community and the different reactions he gets as an outcast of his own kind. Sonically this album was inspired by the year '1993' and all the funky dope classic Hip Hop that was coming out at the time. Static requested that Castro approached this album by starting with a funky baseline and building each beat around that with some old school drums and jazz samples. This was a fun album to make. Expect much more from SC Static this year.
